Hoagland Brother's Policies

  • FREIGHT:
    We ship everything out with the US Postal Service and we use First Class Mail. It is incredibly reliable and relatively inexpensive. But, as long as you're willing to pay for it, we're willing to ship your item(s) anyway that you'd like. By donkey, if that's your choice. We do not automatically use tracking numbers on every package. (but, since we've had freight problems there before, we do anytime we send to Italy) If you are in the US and you'd like a tracking number on your package, add $1 for the service. If you are outside the US and you'd like a tracking number on your package, add $21USD for the service. (we know... it's a LOT of money but that's what they charge us for it) Under no circumstances do we refund freight.
  • HARNESS REFUNDS & RETURNS:
    The Hoagland Brothers creates ultra-high quality harnesses. We do 95% of the technical work for you and, after receiving it, you are responsible for having it installed. We do recommend that you have your harness installed by a qualified guitar repair professional. Each guitar is different and, if there are issues, they can be easily diagnosed and handled.
    We're sorry but there are no returns or refunds on custom-built guitar wiring harnesses. No exceptions. If you have an issue with the install of your harness, we suggest that you take it to your local guitar shop for a diagnosis. We are more than happy to take a look at it for you as long as you pay the freight both ways (from you and back to you from us). If the issue turns out to be our fault, we are more than happy to cover the freight back to you. If it turns out be no fault of our shop, the freight both ways is your responsibility.
  • PARTS REFUNDS & RETURNS:
    We are more than happy to replace any electronic part purchased that proves defective within 30 days of purchase. (you pay the freight to get it back to us and, as long as the part proves to be defective, we'll pay the freight to send you a new one)
  • PICKUPS:
    All normal manufacturer's warranties apply. The Hoagland Brothers do not warranty pickups. Any and all service that is required must be performed by the manufacturing company of the pickup in question. No returns of pickups once the item is opened.
  • RESTOCKING CHARGES:
    There is a 15% restocking charge on all returned items.
